Article in the KEIBA brochure states: Judges called Wayne Hodgson a "confident, inspirational and innovative business leader". His company has grown rapidly into a profitable recruitment business supplying mainly blue-collar workers to industry. They include HGV drivers, factory workers, warehouse staff and operatives to the waste and recycling industry. The company holds a gangmasters' licence that enables Red Eagle to supply workers to the food manufacturing and farming sectors. It provides up to 450 workers a day and has won significant contracts from major clients such as Tilmanstone Salads and Viridor. Wayne has taken risks and managed considerable financial exposure, yet has kept invoice discounting costs to a minimum. He is a highly motivated individual who was hungry for success right from the start of his recruitment career. He was a director by the age of 24 and 29 when he and his now wife set up Red Eagle in 2004. "I get real satisfaction from the success of the business and the achievements of all the individuals within the business," he said. He is an accomplished public speaker and prides himself on a hands-on approach that seeks to inspire his team by example. |
