Working Hours: 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £9.23 per hour/£18,000 per annum
Red Eagle Recruitment (AGY) is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant for our client based in Folkestone.
- Supporting the Financial Director, Finance Manager and the Accounts Team by completing essential tasks.
- Raise credit notes in the correct period.
- Submit Intrastat and EC sales list reports for the previous month before the deadline.
- Submit EDI’s for payment in a timely fashion.
- Set up and qualify new customer accounts.
- Provide holiday/sickness cover for credit control and purchase ledger
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the business
- Solid understanding of accountancy/book-keeping and willingness to develop further and take on more responsibility
- Proven numeracy skills and accuracy in previous accounts based roles
- Computer literate, good data entry speed and capable of utilising MS Excel tools such as VLOOKUP (this will be assessed at interview stage)
- Knowledge of SAP would be desirable
- Previous administrative, accounts or finance office experience
- Confident inter-personal skills to deal with customers and external contacts
Our client is looking for someone for an immediate start, with the role being offered on a Temp2Perm basis.
Working hours are, 08:30 – 17:00 Mon – Fri, paying £9.23 per hour.
