Job Description:

Red Eagle Recruitment (AGY) is looking to recruit a Switchboard Operator for our client based in Canterbury.

As Switchboard Operator you will the first point of call for incoming messages, and transferring onto the relevant person. You will need to be able to remaining calm, in a busy and demanding environment.

Experience required:

Experience in a phone based customer service role
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Clear telephone manner
The switchboard is open 24/7 so you will be working on an agreed rota, which includes weekends. Shift patterns vary from 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm and 10pm – 6am. You will be allocated up to 37.5 hours a week on a rota basis, but there may be an opportunity to pick up extra shifts covering staff absence.

Pay is £8.38 per hour, and is paid weekly, a week in arrears. This is an on-going temporary role, expected to run for a minimum of 6 months.
