Job Description:

Red Eagle Recruitment (AGY) is looking to recruit Purchase Ledger Clerk for our client based in Dartford

Responsibilities

  • Checking invoices against Purchase Orders
  • Checking invoices against Standing Orders
  • Checking Invoices against Hire Sheet
  • Matching invoices to Delivery Notes and Timesheets to ensure invoice amounts are correct
  • Checking invoices have appropriate level of authorisation and holding accordingly
  • Matching waste tickets to invoices and updating comparison spreadsheet ready for Director’s authorisation
  • Analysing invoices to correct nominal, expense, cost centres and job costings
  • Maintenance of fuel supplier’s invoice schedule
  • Liaising with Company Buyer regarding discrepancies to avoid unnecessary external queries being raised
  • Liaising with Assistant Finance Manager/Finance Manager to ensure invoices are coded correctly
  • Holding disputed invoices in query giving full explanation of relevant query
  • Responsible for notifying Directors and rest of the Accounts Department of any Supplier price increases
  • Supplier Statement Reconciliations
  • Checking invoice processing
  • Dealing with adhoc requests for information

This is a temporary role expected to last for 1 month, working 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday. This is paying an hourly rate of between £11 and £12 per hour dependant on experience
