Golf day raises £14,000 to help empower disadvantaged children

The Red Eagle Foundation held their second annual golf day at Chestfield Golf Club on Friday 17th May.

Clients, suppliers and friends of Red Eagle Foundation, supported the event and enjoyed a round of golf whilst raising over £14,000. The money will go towards helping empowering disadvantaged children throughout Kent.

The winning team was Abbott Construction, each of the team received a golf bag, kindly donated by PowaKaddy. Runners up were Keaveney Contractors and A.L.E Supplies came third.

Best Individual was Dominic Comins from the Keaveney Team.

Wayne Hodgson, the charity chairman said, “I am delighted with the amount raised from our second golf day. The weather held out and all who supported the event were incredibly generous. A special thank you to our main sponsor, PowaKaddy; GKR Scaffolding, who sponsored the trophies; Viridor Waste, who sponsored the on-course drinks buggy and to Chestfield Gold Club for hosting the event.”
