Inspire day showcases local organisations helping disadvantaged children
An Inspire day held at the NHS Orchards Centre in Sittingbourne last week, encouraged local organisations to come forward and demostrate how they can help disadvantaged children.
The event was well attended by the public who were looking for ways to inspire their children with sport, recreation and therapy.
The Red Eagle Foundation were keen to show how they can help fund equipment for children to improve their physical health, as well as therapy to improve mental health. Chairman of Trustees, Wayne Hodgson, represented the charity at the event and commented, “I was delighted with the number of people who approached our stand, all with bespoke needs where the NHS were unable to fund. The event was also useful to connect with other organisations and charities with a common interest.”
