The Gillingham Jobs Fair was held last week at the home of North Kent Football, Gillingham’s Priestfield Stadium. The event attracted a mixture of different employers from various industries and local recruitment agencies, all recruiting for local jobs. It was Free to attend for job hunters and attracted a huge number of local people.

Jobs Fairs are a great way to speak with potential employers face-to-face. You can register with employers for jobs, collect info on employers, ask them questions, apply for jobs, or even have a mini interview on the day.

Many received CV and career advice from our two Red Eagle representatives on the day, Vicki Rice and Gemma Bevan. The day also gave job hunters the opportunities to gain confidence by speaking to HR staff.

Gemma from our Sittingbourne office said, “It was a well organised, promoted and run event, with job hunters looking for both permanent and temporary positions across a variety of industries. It was a beautiful venue, packed throughout the day.”
