Tilmanstone Salads raise £2,000 for local charities

Red Eagle had the pleasure of joining Tilmanstone Salads for their 12th Annual charity golf day, held at Prince’s Golf Club in Sandwich.

Our team, one of eight on the day,  were off to a flying start on the first nine holes, pars, birdies, such a shame this was a warm up round for the 18 hole competition in the afternoon! Of course, it went down hill from there on in – bogeys, double bogeys and then there was that five out of the bunker.

Things took a turn in the evening when the beers flowed and the delicious three course meal was served. Dan Hill, General Manager at Tilmanstone Salads, handed out the prizes, adding a few witty words to the proceedings. £2,000 was raised on the day, the money will be split between Kent Air Ambulance and Pilgrims Hospice.

Tilmanstone Salads have now raised £37,000 for charity over the course of running this event.

Many thanks to Bob Lewis for his work in making the day happen, thoroughly enjoyed by all.
